Zone complexe d'écailles mésozoïques représentant un faciès de passage entre Austroalpin inférieur et Pennique supérieur.
Spillmann & Trommsdorff S.64: Die Chastelets-Sedimente stellen eine innerhalb des Corvatsch-Kristallins gelegene Synklinale dar, die nahe der Basis der Corvatsch-Teildecke, aber deutlich oberhalb der Überschiebung auf die Platta-Decke gelegen ist. Ihre Stellung bezüglich der Platta-Decke entspricht in etwa der Stellung der Longoni-Sedimente bezüglich der Malenco-Forno-Lizun-Decke.

p.85: The Chastelets Slice is a small slice of basement and cover in the footwall of the Corvatsch Slice (Spillmann & Trommsdorff 2007). It directly overlies the Platta Nappe and hence occupies a similar position to that of the Roccabella Slice northwest of the Engadine Fault.
