p.37: In addition to the Giuv Syenite, other monzodioritic, quartz monzonitic and syenitic bodies occur in the eastern part of the Aar Massif. The Bristenstock Syenite, a fine- to medium-grained quartz-bearing hornblende syenite, intrudes the Ofenhorn-Stampfhorn Gneiss Complex of the Sustenhorn Zone north of the Central Aar Granite on the northwest face of the Bristenstock (JENNY 1973) in a tectonic position similar to the Tödi Granite Complex.
